Bob Galloway Memorial Ride-to-Eat
Amish Country Bicycle Tour
Every September, along with the leadership of the Decatur Bicycle
Club, well over 500 biking enthusiasts descend on
Illinois
Amish Country's flat and scenic terrain to ride...
and eat!
The ride consists of 10, 25, 50 or 100 mile loops around the Arthur area. Generally flat terrain makes for easy riding and a family friendly ride.
The "eat" includes usually a pancake breakfast to start, plenty of snacks and supplies along the route, and then the highlight full meal served to riders by the local Mennonite school. Plenty of good food with noodles, church peanut butter and a lot more.
There is always something to do in Arthur!

We add to it very frequently and it contains the most

Our Smaller Events
Almost every week year around Arthur is a very active place. Don't be afraid to visit Arthur and drop into a high school sports event, watch a softball tournament in the park, or follow the signs to a "haystack" supper. We're small town America, and this is what we do. You're welcome to relax and join us.
